Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used for the purpose of making websites function and operate more efficiently, as well as for the purpose of providing information to the owners of the website itself. Cookies can be either session or persistent. Session Cookies are stored in the terminal for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is limited to transmitting session IDs comprised of numbers generated randomly by the server to ensure a secure and efficient browsing experience of the Website. Persistent Cookies, on the other hand, remain stored in the user’s terminal until a predefined expiry date. These are not directly deleted upon closing the browser but allow us to remember the choices you make on our Website and to collate information about the pages of the site visited by you, the frequency with which the site is visited, and to identify your browsing patterns in order to improve your experience on this site. Cookies, be they session or persistent, can be either First-Party or Third-Party Cookies depending on whether the person who installs the cookies on the user’s terminal is the same manager of the site visited by the user (hence, First-Party Cookies) or another party (Third-Party Cookies).

Cookies used by this Website

This Website uses so-called Session Cookies (for example, the PHPSESSID Cookie, which relates to the work session), being Cookies that are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and which disappear when the browser is closed. Their use is strictly limited.
